Adrienne Marie "Audie" England (born July 12, 1967) is an American actress and professional photographer who carved out a notable niche in the entertainment industry during the 1990s. Born in Los Angeles, California, England pursued her education at UCLA, where she concentrated on cinematography, providing her with a strong technical foundation that would later inform her work both in front of and behind the camera. At the age of 26, she was discovered by director Zalman King, who cast her in the lead role in his film adaptation of Anaïs Nin's erotic novel Delta of Venus. This breakthrough role launched her career and established a long-standing professional relationship with King that would shape much of her subsequent work in film and television. Interestingly, England also appeared in the music video for Don Henley's iconic 1985 hit "The Boys of Summer," which won the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year. England became a recognizable face in several Zalman King productions, including making guest appearances on the popular erotic drama series Red Shoe Diaries. Beyond her work with King, she is perhaps best remembered for her role as Claire in the cult science fiction comedy Free Enterprise (1999), which has since developed a devoted fan base. Throughout her career, she appeared in 14 movies and made numerous guest appearances on various television series, including Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Mortal Kombat: Conquest, and Diagnosis Murder. In 1998, her striking beauty earned her recognition when she was voted one of People magazine's "Most Beautiful Stars." England is married to television producer and director Peter M. Lenkov, with whom she has four children, and she later transitioned her creative energies toward professional photography.
