Annie Mumolo (born July 10, 1973) is a celebrated American screenwriter, actress, comedian, and producer. She attained significant acclaim for co-writing the 2011 film Bridesmaids along with Kristen Wiig, a performance that earned her nominations for an Academy Award and a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay. Mumolo then collaborated again with Wiig to co-write and star in the comedy film Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar in 2021. Mumolo's portfolio also boasts significant roles in movies such as This Is 40 (2012), Afternoon Delight (2013), The Boss (2016), Bad Moms (2016), Queenpins (2020), and Confess, Fletch (2022).

She was born in Irvine, California, to a dentist father and a homemaker mother, Alice. She boasts an Italian lineage with her grandfather, Dominic Mumolo, having worked as a studio musician at NBC from 1949 to 1971. Mumolo kickstarted her career in the world of improv comedy with The Groundlings. Her acting journey began in earnest with a role in the 2005 comedy film Bewitched and on television shows such as The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman, Out of Practice, and Two and a Half Men. Her voice acting career commenced in 2004 in the series Maya & Miguel. She achieved critical acclaim for the film Bridesmaids and continued to play significant roles in several other notable films and series. Mumolo's personal life saw her married to Tim Lovestedt from 2005 to 2016, and they share two children.
