Almudena Parejo Amor, known professionally as Almudena Amor, was born on 30 March 1994 in Madrid, Spain. She grew up in the Concepción neighborhood of Ciudad Lineal and spent many summers in the small village of Lagartera in Toledo, where her family has deep roots. From an early age she showed a keen interest in performing, taking part in theatrical workshops organized by her high school and later honing her craft at the Mar Navarro acting school in Carabanchel. In addition to her artistic training, she earned a university degree in publicity and a master’s degree in design, reflecting a broad academic background. Before committing fully to acting, Amor worked as a fashion model, appearing in several campaigns and gaining valuable experience in front of the camera. Her transition to screen acting began with roles in short films, commercials and music videos, the latter including a teaser by Gonzaga Manso titled “Millones de años”. The exposure caught the attention of agent Diana Ellerker, which led to her first major starring role as Susana in Paco Plaza’s horror‑drama The Grandmother, portraying a young model who returns home to care for her ailing grandmother. She also appeared in the anthology series Stories to Stay Awake in the episode “Freddy”. Amor’s breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed comedy The Good Boss, where she played Liliana, a privileged intern whose infatuation with the boss earned her nominations for the Goya Award for Best New Actress and the Feroz Award for Best Supporting Actress. Since then she has continued to build a versatile portfolio, balancing dramatic and comedic roles while maintaining a presence in the Spanish film industry.
