Alicia Fernández Fraga is a distinguished Spanish handball centre‑back born on 21 December 1992 in the coastal town of Valdoviño. From a young age she displayed a physicality and tactical awareness that set her apart, and she entered the senior ranks with BM Sagunto in 2009, beginning a professional journey that would span more than a decade. After three seasons she moved to BM Porriño (2012‑2014) where she honed her defensive skills, followed by a brief spell at BM Aula Valladolid before signing for the dominant Super Amara Bera Bera in 2015.
