Aisha Dee (born 13 September 1993) is an Australian actress and singer whose career has spanned over a decade, beginning with a breakout role on the children’s series The Saddle Club in 2008. Born on the Gold Coast, Queensland, she grew up in a modest one‑bedroom apartment in Surfers Paradise, the daughter of a white Australian mother who worked as an opera singer and an African‑American father who performed as a jazz musician, giving her a richly diverse artistic heritage. From an early age she was immersed in performance; she has credited the daily reruns of Sesame Street she watched in her childhood apartment as a spark that ignited her passion for acting. Attending King’s Christian College, Dee honed her talents in both music and drama, later channeling that foundation into a multi‑faceted career that blends acting with singing. Her early television work included a recurring role on Dead Gorgeous (2010) and her first major American exposure on the Fox sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter (2011‑2013).
