What Is Vite About?
The premise of Vite without spoilers.
In 1969 painter‑sculptor Daniel Pommereulle made his short, Vite, financed by Sylvina Boissonnas. It includes lunar footage captured with a Questar telescope he first saw while visiting Marlon Brando in 1968. Earlier, in Rohmer’s La Collectionneuse, he and friend Adrien debated le vide; three years later he changed “vide” to “vite” to signal disillusionment after May ’68.
