In a brutal, shadow-filled world of high-stakes bets, Baku Madarame earns the nickname The Lie Eater by outsmarting opponents who are ruthless and often maniacal. A master gambler, he thrives on dangerous, mind games that push his skills to the limit, always chasing a larger prize and a chance to bend the rules of the underground to his will.
He is backed by his loyal protege Takaomi Kaji and his formidable bodyguard Marco, forming atight unit that moves through the city’s darkest corners. Together they set their sights on taking control of Kakerou, a clandestine gambling realm that governs life-or-death wagers and safeguards its own brutal code.
