Two Sons and a River of Blood (2021): Cast

A woman's pregnancy sparks a unique exploration within a family unit of two women and a transgender man. They envision a form of erotic magic enabling procreation driven by desire, leading to a public ritual symbolizing hope for multiplicity and acknowledging their bodies as technological interventions. Following a miscarriage, the group develops a mythic understanding of existence beyond the physical, creating a story tracing the movement of what’s lost, from a void to a river and into a room. Haunting imagery of a sterile, unsettling space intertwines with the experiences of the pregnant and transgender bodies, suggesting a portal to a world beyond.
