Sixteen‑year‑old Dorothy, a groupie with a rock band, is injured in a van crash and awakens in a gritty fantasy realm. She learns she killed a young thug, and the Good Fairy—a flamboyant gay clothier—gives her red shoes to find the Wizard’s final concert, an androgynous rock star. Hunted by the thug’s brother, she meets a dim‑witted surfer, a cold mechanic and a cowardly biker.
