Tween Academy: Class of 2012 2011

Kara [Barbie Forteza], George [Bea Binene], and Enzo [Elmo Magalona] are three best friends who face relentless bullying at school, earning them the nickname Imba Trio. Their bond is tested one night at the school dance when Enzo accidentally bumps into Chloe [Lexi Fernandez], ripping her dress, and is swept off the floor by Maximo and his crew. In the scramble to help him, Kara and George not only get swept up in the chaos but also get dumped into the trash along with Enzo. The trio’s misfortune is briefly tempered by the arrival of Christian [Alden Richards] and Diego [Kristofer Martin], who step in with support and practical ideas. By the end of the night, the three friends hatch a plan to flip their fate: after the prom, they’ll tackle a list of dares designed to push them into the spotlight and, in their minds, shrink the power of the bullies over their lives.

The day after prom, life at school throws more curveballs. Enzo discovers he has to retake a class, and in a moment of self-preservation he heads for the bathroom—only to navigate a comic mishap that lands him face-to-face with Maddie [Sam Pinto], sparking an unexpected crush. Meanwhile, George reconnects with Jepoy [Jake Vargas], who has just returned to town, and Kara crosses paths with Robin online when his backpack is snatched at a comic convention, later unintentionally helping him out and ending up selling him the #1 issue of Metal Man online. These small encounters begin to redraw the lines of their social world and set the stage for new curiosities and friendships.

As the day unfolds, the teens push forward with their bold plan. Enzo steps up to help Maddie secure her car from a tight parking spot, only to lock himself out in the process, a moment that adds to the trio’s continued efforts to redefine their status. Back online, Kara builds a quiet friendship with Robin, not knowing his true identity, while George spends more time with Jepoy, who impresses her with a new song and quietly stirs a crush. The story follows the Imba Trio as they navigate popularity, loyalty, and romance, showing how their daring choices—whether comic, awkward, or heartfelt—shape their friendships and futures, all while staying true to the core bond that first brought them together.
