What Is Turning Tide About?

Yann Madec, Frank Drevil's close friend and the star skipper of Global System Insurance, gets a last-minute opportunity to compete in the prestigious Vendée Globe when Frank is injured. Leading the race after nine days, Yann is unexpectedly forced to stop in Cape Verde to repair a broken center-board. He then discovers a stowaway, a young Senegalese teenager named Moussa, on board his boat. Facing potential disqualification, Yann grapples with a difficult decision, leading to an extraordinary and unforgettable round-the-world race.
