Tribes 2020

Three young men, an African American, an Arab-American, and a white man, plan to rob a subway car, determined to avoid targeting people of their own ethnicity. Their attempt quickly spirals into a complex and humorous debate about identity and belonging. They repeatedly categorize passengers based on race, culture, and economic status, desperately searching for a group they can all agree is fair to rob. The situation takes an unexpected turn when the train reaches the next station, leading to a surprising reversal of roles.
