An 1989 British television serial that follows the illegal drug trade through three interwoven perspectives: Afghan and Pakistani growers, German traffickers, and British users. It received six BAFTA nominations, winning three, and an International Emmy for best drama. It inspired Soderbergh’s 2000 film Traffic and the 2004 American miniseries.
