Tom and Jerry: The Lost Dragon 2014

Wizard Kaldorf expels a powerful witch named Drizelda from a village after a string of crimes. He then offers shelter to Drizelda’s mistreated niece, Athena, though the elf villagers grow wary that Athena might echo her aunt’s wrongdoings. They notice Athena’s unusual attachments—she keeps Vermin-like creatures (Jerry) and shows a soft spot for cats (Tom)—and fear she could slip into the same path as Drizelda. The elders’ worries are tempered by Athena’s youth and resilience, and she remains a teenage barefoot girl trying to navigate a tense, magical world.

The story shifts to a village life where Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse are babies who start as rivals but quickly become frenemies. Despite their quarrels, they form a wary friendship with Athena, who shares a gentle bond with animals. The trio’s everyday adventures are simple at first: Tom and Jerry chase each other, while Athena tends to injured creatures around the village. From the glowing egg emerges a baby dragon named Puffy. Puffy instantly bonds with the trio and believes Tom is his mother, prompting a protective, family-like dynamic among the three human- and animal-companions. The newborn dragon’s warmth brings a fresh sense of purpose to the group, and they all commit to caring for Puffy as he grows. The environment around them becomes a miniature family affair, with Tom and Jerry learning to share space with a dragon in need and Athena embracing a sense of responsibility beyond her years.

Yet happiness is fragile. Puffy’s real mother fears for her missing child and returns with a fierce longing to reclaim him. Drizelda returns with a dangerous plan: she intends to extract Puffy’s heat to fuel the rise of a super-dragon who could terrorize the village and bend the land to her will. The stakes rise quickly as Puffy is captured again, and the trio must rally their allies to thwart the witch’s malevolent scheme.

In the face of danger, help comes from unlikely places. The elves and their magical allies step into the fray, including The Elf Elder and his wife, Elf Elder’s Wife, who lend their wisdom and strength to the effort. Together with other animal friends, Tom, Jerry, and Athena mount a courageous rescue to reclaim Puffy and stop Drizelda from draining the dragon’s heat for her own purposes. The battle is spirited and physical, with teamwork and trust driving the group forward.

The confrontation culminates in a dramatic outcome: Drizelda is ultimately turned into a statue, ending her immediate threat and paving the way for a village-wide celebration. Puffy is safely returned to his mother, and the villagers, along with Jerry, Kaldorf, and Athena, join in a joyful singing party that marks a moment of peace and community. Yet the moment carries a tinge of the unknown, as the world nearby remains watchful and ready for what might come next.
