In a cozy living room, a toy one-man band player named Tinny looks around and sees a baby boy named Billy arrive. When Tinny tries to walk out of Billy’s reach, the musical instruments on Tinny’s back begin to play, drawing Billy’s attention and sparking a lively chase that fills the room with a jittery rhythm.

During the pursuit, Tinny darts for safety and finds cover under a couch, where he uncovers a small sanctuary of other toys who seem just as afraid of Billy’s exuberant energy as he is. Unaware of this hidden group, Billy slips and falls face-first onto the hardwood floor, his wail echoing through the room and pulling at Tinny’s sympathy.
