Doc, a musical cat, conducts an alley‑cat orchestra in Rossini’s Cinderella overture. He climbs onto a clock podium where a mouse naps in a bed beneath the swinging pendulum. While directing, Doc lowers the pendulum, catching the mouse, which swings with it. The band plays; the mouse tries to out‑scream the music, but Doc silences him.
