Pedro, his wife Eva, and their young son arrive at the Everfield luxury resort for a week-long holiday. That evening, a second family knocks on their door, led by the gregarious Abel, claiming the right to stay in the same bungalow. The resort’s management has overbooked the bungalows, forcing the two families to share the same space. Pedro is not fond of Abel’s boisterous manners, and what begins as an awkward accommodation quickly seeds a tense undercurrent that hints at trouble to come as the days unfold and the façade of vacation cheer begins to crack.

Meanwhile, deeply troubled Andres is trying to save his relationship with his wife Gloria. Once a cheerful and athletic village entertainer at Everfield, he has fallen into a spiral of depression after the death of his son and now works as a cleaner for the same resort. His wife also works as a cleaner, but she is chosen for a special development scheme that may lead her to a promotion and a pay raise. The development scheme is coordinated by the mysterious and sinister American manager Tom.

As the week progresses, the atmosphere grows darker and stranger, and the boundaries between the two families blur in subtle, unsettling ways. [Pedro]’s unease with the other family deepens as shared spaces and small conflicts accumulate, while Andres’ precarious life and his wife’s potential opportunity test their bonds even further. The two strands of the story edge toward a collision, and eventually their paths cross in a moment that will redefine what holiday chaos can reveal about people, secrets, and longing at Everfield.
