Thunder and Lightning (2015): Cast

The 1985 Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team was a remarkable group, boasting four future Major League Baseball All-Stars. Known as “Thunder and Lightning,” Will Clark and Rafael Palmeiro formed a powerful hitting duo, while Bobby Thigpen and Jeff Brantley earned Reliever of the Year honors. Clark, a bold player from New Orleans, contrasted with the quiet, Cuban-American Palmeiro. This documentary explores their time as teammates, their complex relationship, and the team's near miss at a College World Series title, ultimately seeking to honor their achievements.
