Pullu Giri [Jayasurya] grows up in Thrissur and becomes a juvenile criminal at the age of 10 after he murders his mother’s killer. His chilling method is to stab with a rabies-infected knife, a detail that shadows his violent path through adulthood. After his mother’s death, he is raised by Rajalakshmi, also known as Vakkeelamma, a renowned criminal lawyer in Thrissur [Mallika Sukumaran].

Today, Giri is a former gangster who has pivoted to a quieter life, running his own bottled-water company in Thrissur. He is married to Veni [Swathi Reddy], with whom he has a daughter, and he tries to keep a steady home life, even as the past looms over him. He occasionally brushes with the law, as Raman Moorthy [Vijay Babu], the city’s police commissioner, keeps a watchful eye on any signs of old habits resurfacing.

Thrissur is currently ruled by two gangster brothers, Shyam Rangan [Sabumon Abdusamad] and Sudeep [Sudev Nair], who traffic in gold smuggling and real estate schemes, weaving a dangerous web that entangles many in the underworld. Giri’s world collides with theirs when his friend Balan [T G Ravi] gets into trouble after lending a car to gold smugglers tied to Sudeep, drawing Giri back into a cycle of crime he hoped to leave behind.

The violence escalates quickly: Sudeep kills Balan when Balan seeks to prove his innocence. Enraged, Giri retaliates by orchestrating a deadly ruse—he fakes a road accident to kill Sudeep—an act that drags him back into the boot of a brutal underworld war. Shyam vows revenge, and the conflict intensifies as Giri and his ally Teja orchestrate a daring kidnapping of Veni, only to witness her humiliation in a crowded market where she is stripped bare. The incident also leads to an arson attack on Giri’s water-bottling plant, further destabilizing his life.

Veni pleads with Giri to avenge the indignity, and he sets his sights on the next major gold haul: a consignments worth ₹100 crore. He secures the gold, smuggles it back to Kerala aboard a KSRTC bus, and once again uses the rabies-infected knife to eliminate Teja. Giri then surrenders the gold to Moorthy, a move that strains the balance of power between him and Shyam.

Shyam orders a broadside against Giri, sending a cadre of hitmen to finish him. Giri fights them off, but a trusted subordinate betrays him and leaves him mortally wounded. Murugan [Indrans] and another lieutenant, Alli, track down the betrayer and kill him, while Shyam learns that Giri is still alive. With the gold gone and his empire in jeopardy, Shyam seeks a compromise—a suggestion made through his lawyer and adviser.

In a tense meeting at a local tea stall, Shyam and his lawyer confront the limping Giri. The encounter is interrupted when the stall’s owner, a figure seeking justice for a prior tragedy, kills Shyam in retribution for his past actions. In the end, Giri returns to a quieter life, resuming the path of a man who once walked the line between crime and legitimacy, trying to hold together a fragile peace in a city haunted by the shadows of its underworld.
