What Is The Unknown About?
The premise of The Unknown without spoilers.
In a remote Canadian town, Madiha lives with her mother, who run a modest motel after emigrating from Egypt following a divorce. Unaware that she has a brother in Cairo, Madiha despises their illicit scheme: sedating occasional guests, stealing their money and using their deaf, mute servant to dump the bodies in a nearby lake. After their father dies, brother Nagi travels from Egypt, checks into the motel incognito, and seeks answers about his mother and why his father warned him to stay away.
