What Is The Sergeant About?
The premise of The Sergeant without spoilers.
Physically and psychologically scarred by the war, Sergeant Rostam Darre Kalaye retires and returns to his home in northern Iran. While he was away, his wife Golbakht and their son have been working at his brother’s auto shop to make ends meet. At first she greets his homecoming with joy, but soon Golbakht realizes the man she once knew has become a stranger.
