Wrongfully sentenced for robbery and murder, Paul Lavond escapes prison with a brilliant scientist who has invented a method to shrink humans. After the scientist is killed during the breakout, Lavond reaches the lab, employs the miniaturization device to exact revenge on those who framed him and prove his innocence to the public and his daughter Lorraine. A subsequent accident kills a deranged assistant, forcing Lavond to flee again.
