What Is The Wind Carpet About?
The premise of The Wind Carpet without spoilers.
Japan and Iran have little historic contact, yet Persian carpets once appeared in Takayama’s ancient festival. Organizers enlist Kinue, a Persian‑style carpet designer, and her husband Makoto. After Kinue’s death, Makoto travels to Isfahan with his daughter, learns the rug isn’t woven yet and will take months, threatening the festival.
