In this enchanting story, Mary Fiore (played by Jennifer Lopez), an ambitious wedding planner in San Francisco, is brought back together with her childhood acquaintance Massimo, a situation initiated by her father Salvatore. He harbors hopes of securing their engagement. Yet, Mary dismisses the idea of marriage and instead focuses her efforts on impressing her boss Geri in her quest to become a partner at their firm. When she’s assigned to organize the lavish wedding of catering heiress Fran Donolly to her longtime love, Eddie, Mary finds herself caught in the whirlwind of high-stakes planning while striving to establish herself as a leading event organizer.
