The Tobacconist of Vallecas (1987): Cast

Unemployed mason Leandro and his companion Tocho try to rob a small tobacconist shop in Madrid’s Vallecas district, but the shop’s owner, Mrs. Justa, thwarts their plan and raises the alarm, prompting neighbors to call the police. As the standoff unfolds inside, the shop’s staff—Mrs. Justa and her niece Ángeles—become unlikely captives, and an unexpected, tentative bond begins to form between the thieves and their would‑be hostages.
