As time grieves heavily on Christopher, his existence irrevocably changes following the death of his beloved wife, Savannah, after more than two decades of marriage. Struggling to cope, he descends into a self-destructive spiral of drinking, which leads him to an obsession with the idea of past lives. Captivated by the thought that he may be the reincarnation of Jo, a courageous German resistance fighter who sacrificed everything to shield Jews from the Nazis during the Holocaust, he becomes consumed by this notion.
As the wedding day of his daughter, Destiny, approaches, Christopher experiences an overwhelming sense of déjà vu regarding her fiancé, Ben. This feeling intensifies, igniting the belief that in a previous life, he and Ben shared a profound love that was tragically interrupted.
