The ceremony included the looting of tombs, animal sacrifices, and the arrangement of human bones. Over the years, further disturbing events occurred, such as the mutilation of cattle and the discovery of evidence suggesting necromancy, alongside numerous reports of paranormal activity at the isolated ruin. Half a century later, the legend persists in the local community. A documentary crew investigated the Clophill witches in 2010, documenting a terrifying journey into the unexplained.
