The premise of The Mural of Siqueiros without spoilers.
In the 1930s Mexican muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros travels to Argentina to give lectures and paint a revolutionary mural, which faces political opposition. Newspaper magnate Natalio Botana, friend of President Agustín P. Justo, asks him to contribute to Critica’s cultural supplement and to create a mural in the basement of his Villa Los Granados. There his wife, poet Blanca Luz Brum, joins him, and his collaboration with Botana provokes jealousy from Botana’s anarchist wife Salvadora Medina Onrubia, turning the villa into the dramatic “Ejercicio Plástico.”
