Spoilers ahead
In this intimate, road‑worthy drama, two men with nothing in common but a shared impulse to outrun death embark on a reckless quest for one perfect day. Andi, a 33-year-old pianist whose every breath is a battle against pulmonary fibrosis, lives tethered to an oxygen supply and the quiet routine of a hospice. His neighbor Benno, 36, carries the stigma of a criminal past and a brain tumor that has left him fighting sudden, overwhelming bouts of sleep. Both men carry fatigue beyond the physical—an existential weariness that makes the ordinary feel fragile and the future feel uncertain.
