
Mark Fallon and his partner Kansas John Polly try to bring honest gambling to Mississippi riverboats. After a lucky win that includes Angelique Dureau’s necklace, they anger corrupt gamblers and earn Angelique’s scorn. In New Orleans Mark befriends her father, but Angelique still despises him as his wealth grows, leading to duels, tragedy and romance.
