In this intense action-packed story, Kowloon, an undercover police officer, works tirelessly to take down the mafia boss Uncle, played by lam-suet. Their final confrontation occurs during a fierce fight at a hotel, where their clash is so brutal that it is captured on video and quickly spreads across the internet, sparking widespread controversy and backlash. The fallout from this incident results in Kowloon being reassigned by his superior to a remote police post in Yuen Long.

Soon after his transfer, a new crime wave hits his jurisdiction. The police begin investigating a series of chilling murders targeting female officers. Kowloon is under pressure to solve the case, and his boss sincerely promises to reinstate him to regular duty if he can crack the case. Driven by the desire to clear his name and find justice, Kowloon sets a trap by using female colleagues as bait, hoping to lure the killer out. Unfortunately, his plan fails miserably when the murderer outsmarts him, resulting in the deaths of two policewomen, including Fong Ning, who is revealed to be Kowloon’s fiancée. The tragic loss devastates him and makes him confront an existential crisis, forcing him to resign from the police force. Feeling lost and overwhelmed by grief, Kowloon turns to underground boxing as a way to cope with his pain.

Years pass, and Chow, who was Kowloon’s former partner, finds him in a different phase of his life. Chow reaches out and informs Kowloon about a serial killer operating in Macau, using methods similar to those of the murderer in Hong Kong. Recognizing an opportunity—and a chance for revenge—Kowloon agrees to collaborate with the Macau police, with Chow acting as his ally. During the investigation, Kowloon visits one of the crime scenes and discovers a crucial clue: a deflected bullet fired from a stolen Hong Kong police pistol belonging to one of his late colleagues. As they dig deeper, Kowloon begins to suspect someone is watching him. He notices a woman following him, and Chow also realizes they are being surveilled at their hotel. They quickly enlist the help of Mung-kei, a friend who skillfully helps them evade their pursuers.

However, their unauthorized probing puts them at odds with Macau’s police, specifically Tso, a police detective played by richard-ng-yiu-hon. Tso confronts them, revealing that he was the one monitoring their movements and explicitly warns them to stop interfering. Despite this, Chow and Kowloon are determined to catch the killer, with Chow’s superior pressuring them to close the case within an extra half-month deadline.

As they investigate, Kowloon identifies the woman tailing him as Lady, a well-known personal trainer in Macau and the wife of Alexander Sinclair, a former American soldier and boxer whom Kowloon fought in the past. He arranges for his team to monitor her activities during a visit to Hong Kong, and they overhear a phone call that suggests Sinclair is behind the serial murders. Their suspicions grow stronger, but when they attempt to raid Lady’s mansion, she fiercely resists arrest and ends up shooting Chow, fatally wounding him in the chaos.

Enraged and grief-stricken, Kowloon chases Lady into a confrontation on a light rail. The intense fight causes the train to derail, tragically resulting in Lady’s death. The next day, Kowloon receives a shocking package containing Fong Ning’s corpse, dragging him further into darkness. Sinclair then confronts him, unfolding the tragic backstory of his hatred for policewomen. Sinclair reveals that his animosity stems from losing a fight to Kowloon during their boxing days, which led to mockery from police officers that ultimately contributed to his son’s accidental death in a car accident. The revelation fuels their violent fight, with Kowloon eventually gaining the upper hand. Sinclai jumps out of a window and disappears into the night, leaving Kowloon at a loss.

In his desperation, Kowloon prays to a supernatural entity from his childhood—a nine-headed dragon—pleading for its help in his quest for justice, believing it to be real. This prayer becomes a turning point when Sinclair later calls him, falsely claiming to have taken Wong, a character the police regard as missing. When Kowloon arrives at Sinclair’s gym, Sinclair admits that he lied about Wong’s abduction but then challenges Kowloon to a deadly fight. During their brutal combat, Sinclair tries to flee via speedboat. As he struggles to escape, the nine-headed dragon appears, as Kowloon had prayed, and blocks Sinclair’s path. Ultimately, it drags Sinclair back to shore, forcing him to face his punishment.

Although nobody witnesses the supernatural presence, this event profoundly affirms Kowloon’s belief in the mystical aid he called upon. The story closes on a note of spiritual reassurance, with Kowloon expressing gratitude and newfound faith in the dragon’s aid, marking a surreal but powerful climax to his turbulent journey of vengeance, loss, and redemption.
