In the opening moments of the film, a group of daring stunt drivers, led by a helmeted racer, execute a high-octane heist by hijacking a shipment of electronics from a moving truck, all while speeding in their sleek black Honda Civic coupes. Among the chaos, we meet Brian O’Conner, portrayed by Paul Walker, who is an undercover police officer tasked with infiltrating the notorious gang of Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel.
