Akira, known as the legendary killer known as the Fable, attempts to live a peaceful life with his partner, Yoko, posing as siblings. He works part-time at a design company, Octopus, where he's unaware his colleagues, CEO Takoda and employee Misaki, are oblivious to his dangerous past. However, Utsubo, representing an NPO, secretly collaborates with contract killer Suzuki to blackmail individuals connected to Octopus, drawing Akira back into a world of danger and forcing him to confront his true identity.
