Following the death of their brother Frank at the hands of an outlaw, Bob, Emmett, and Gray Dalton join their local sheriff’s department. Disillusioned by the legal system, they abandon their roles and turn to a life of crime, robbing trains and other targets across the early 1890s. Driven to surpass the notoriety of Jesse James, the Dalton brothers attempt a daring, coordinated robbery of two banks in October 1892, which ultimately leads to a violent and tragic end.
