The Royal Ballet presents a program featuring two distinct works. "The Cellist" is a one-act ballet exploring the life of British cellist Jacqueline du Pré, charting her journey from discovering her passion for the cello to achieving international acclaim and ultimately facing the challenges of multiple sclerosis. Alongside this premiere is a revival of Jerome Robbins’s "Dances at a Gathering," a beautiful and flowing work of pure dance performed by five couples to music by Fryderyk Chopin.
