To beat the world’s best dance crew at a dance-off in Paris, France, German streetdancer Ash, [Falk Hentschel], and his new friend and manager Eddie, [George Sampson], gather the greatest streetdancers from around Europe, hoping to add a Latin spark from salsa dancer Eva, [Sofia Boutella]. After a rough start, the group agrees to blend their styles and have fun with the fusion, while Ash and Eva begin to grow closer as they experiment with stepping outside their usual routine.

They push forward with their plan, embracing the challenge and letting the music guide their evolving performance, mixing sharp street moves with rhythm and flair from Latin roots. The idea is not just to win, but to create something bigger than any single crew could pull off alone, a celebration of diverse bodies moving as one on the crowded floor.

“Little Latin Experiment”

Two days before the big dance-off, Ash rejects Eva on the dance floor and dismisses their fusion as a mere “Little Latin Experiment” as they square off against The Surge, the reigning crew. The moment sends a jolt through the team and sets off a chain of events that shakes the group’s cohesion.

The police arrive and break up the impromptu showcase, and Eva runs away in frustration. Ash chases after her, but she’s not ready to forgive or listen, leaving him with a heavy sense of unfinished business.

The next day, Ash goes to apologize and instead encounters Eva’s Uncle, [Tom Conti], who urges him to walk away and leave Paris behind. Undeterred, Ash returns to the city when he learns that Eva’s Uncle has risen again and is in need of help. Eva meets him and Ash, and the two begin to navigate the delicate tension between duty, family, and their shared dream of dancing together.

When Eva’s Uncle wakes, he tells Ash that he should go to the dance-off, and a renewed sense of purpose pushes Ash and his crew toward the arena. They hurry to the venue, only to find the gates locked. Resourceful and determined, Ash slips back in wearing popcorn sellers’ clothes, using the disguise to get his crew onto the floor and into the competition.

They clash with Invincible, trading high-energy steps and daring tricks until the climactic final dance, where Eva’s presence becomes essential. She arrives just in time, delivering the moment that completes the routine and proves that their fusion is not a gimmick but a powerful new form of expression.

With Eva on stage, the crew delivers a culmination that wows the crowd, and Invincible’s leader concedes as the performance reaches its peak. Ash and his crew finish to roaring cheers, and the moment of triumph is sealed when the trophy is handed over to Ash. As confetti fills the air, the celebration is complete, and Ash and Eva share a kiss, marking the beginning of a new chapter for both of them and a triumph that goes beyond any single win.
