Billy, a 13-year-old boy [Alec Nemser], runs away from home after his parents forget his birthday. Through thick woods, he encounters a drifter who is violently slashed to death after Billy leaves him. Billy stumbles upon an old mansion where a room is decorated for birthday celebrations. Believing it to be a surprise from his parents, he opens a present to reveal a laughing severed head. Startled, he flees, but the drifter’s killer—a werecat with a hook on one hand—pursues him and buries him alive.
Meanwhile, a group of teenagers and some older adults arrive at the mansion, planning to have a party and assuming the place is abandoned. The party includes Adrienne [Charlotte Alexandra], Rich [Peter Iasillo Jr.], Linda [Joan Ellen Delaney], and others who hope to enjoy a night away. The mansion is inhabited by Kreon [Felix Ward], a warlock, who keeps his bride Isabelle [Maria Pechukas] preserved for over 70 years by an unrevealed method, and who needs fresh human victims to sustain his longevity. Kreon uses a Ouija board, manipulated through one of the partygoers, to summon a host of monsters that begin to kill the group one by one.
The toll is horrific: the summoned creatures include the Muck Man [Gabriel Bartalos], as well as a range of terrors—small reptilian demons, giant spiders, an arachnid woman, an octopus‑like creature with electric tentacles, a skeletal witch, a Grim Reaper statue, a vampiric boy in a monk’s habit, and a large horde of zombies. The mansion becomes a grim arcade of attack as Kreon’s plan to preserve Isabelle stretches toward a bloody climax.
Isabelle, after enduring the onslaught, escapes by killing Kreon and trying to outrun the surrounding zombie swarm. She is eventually saved by a man who drives her away in his car, though the twist reveals that the driver is the werecat in disguise. Kreon regenerates from a tomb, leaving the fate of the bride and her pursuers open. The camera then lingers on Kreon’s laughing face as the credits roll.
The film weaves a chilling, surreal atmosphere around a birthday heartbreak turned nightmare, balancing a haunted mansion setting with a mythic battle against a gallery of ghastly criaturas, all framed by the uneasy thread of a boy’s missing celebration and a bride’s tragic, centuries-spanning captivity.
