What Is Spirits About?
The premise of Spirits without spoilers.
The film tells three linked stories. In “The Visitor,” drifter writer Tran Thanh Loc takes shelter in an old house with the beautiful Hoa, falls for her and discovers the truth about the hostess. In “Only Child,” a sick Loc is healed by nurse Linh, writes a bestseller about Hoa, marries Linh and faces her mysterious past when they plan a child. In “The Diviner,” Linh’s parents bring a fake Feng Shui diviner, Lan, who sees a ghost; her son Bao doubts her until he uncovers a startling secret about Loc.
