Spoilers ahead

Meiko Inoue Aoi Miyazaki and Naruo Taneda Kengo Kora graduated from university two years ago, stepping into society without clear goals. They drift through daily life with little direction. Meiko works as an Office Lady to pay the rent for her apartment, while Taneda works as an illustrator at a press company, earning just enough to ease some of Meiko’s burden. In the evenings, Taneda often reconnects with his bandmates from their university days to jam, keeping the dream of their music alive—the dream they first chased when they joined their school’s Pop Music Club.

Unhappy with the rhythm of their ordinary graduate lives, two major choices reshape their path: Meiko decides to quit her job, and Taneda commits to writing his first proper song for the band.
