What Is Slayers Great About?

Laia Einburg wants to end her father Galia’s and brother Huey’s feud, but it erupts when Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent rescue her from a golem. Galia asks Lina to model a golem, and Huey does the same with Naga. Their golems become the prize in a contest run by Lords Haizen and Granion, who plan to weaponize them. Lina and Naga must save Stoner.

Two companion sorceresses, the overpowered Lina Inverse and the underdressed Naga the Serpent, wander into the town of Stoner, famed for its enterprising golem makers. There they rescue a young girl named Laia Einberg from an out-of-control golem, and the two magical duo hopes for a well-deserved reward. Laia leads them to her workplace and introduces them to her father, Galia, and her brother, Huey Einburg. Galia is a renowned crafter of classic toy golems, celebrated for his skill, yet he’s recently feeling the pinch of money troubles. The tension between him and Huey—over how their golems should look and act—creates a brewing clash of visions within their workshop.
