Two interwoven stories unfold among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. The first centers on Tammy Frances Fisher, a high-powered advertising executive celebrating her birthday who is racing from Portland toward a Phoenix client meeting. A wrong turn drops her into Sedona, where a tour plane makes an emergency landing, leaving her stranded while her car is repaired. As she waits, she encounters a spectrum of Sedona residents whose conversations, small gestures, and shared moments begin to loosen the tight grip of her professional life, inviting her to face layers of her past she had long kept hidden.

Across town, Scott Seth Peterson, a lawyer on a family trip with his partner and their two young sons, seeks rest from work but instead finds a personal reckoning when seven-year-old Denny Trevor Sterling Stovall goes missing. The search pulls him into a high-stakes pursuit that strips away professional pretenses and pushes him to reconsider what truly matters—time with family, balance, and the life he wants to lead.
