Salalah Mobiles 2014

Afzal’s mother, Safiyumma, is worried about her son’s future. When his uncle arrives from Salalah, Oman, he suggests that Afzal could secure a job there, but Afzal rejects the plan, insisting that “working is slavery” and that his real dream is to build a mobile shop of his own. He decides to name the venture Salalah Mobiles, and he brings in his childhood friend, Binoy, to help run it.

Every morning, a college-going girl passes by the bus stop in front of the shop, and Afzal falls in love at first sight. He learns her name is Shahana, and he discovers that his childhood classmate and rival Manaf also has a crush on her. After a few days, he travels to Coimbatore to stock up, where he meets Azhagarsamy, a genius who has created many unbelievable applications. Afzal plans to purchase some of his apps to boost his business.

In a bar, during a lively conversation, Afzal praises Azhagarsamy as a genius, and the inventor, visibly pleased, gifts him his mobile tapping app. Back home, a virus spreads through messages and Afzal suddenly begins to hear every caller. Manaf, realizing this new advantage and fueled by jealousy, watches the situation unfold and decides to expose Afzal to the police, setting off a chain of events that tests Afzal’s dreams and his resolve.
