Roger of the Raj (1979): Cast

On the eve of the Great War, Roger Bartlesham, whose parents support the Empire, is inspired by his socialist Latin teacher, Mr. Hopper, to seek equality and open a tea shop with his sweetheart Miranda. A stint in India—where officers shoot themselves to atone for etiquette breaches—draws Roger into Hopper’s plan to bring the Russian Revolution to England. Miranda rescues him from the chaos, letting the pair finally pursue their dream.
