Ram Nithiin is an orphan whose early life is shaped by a school pledge, growing up with the belief that the entire country is his family. As a child, he begins stealing from the rich to fund struggling orphanages, a drive that gradually earns him the moniker Robinhood among those who notice his acts. As years pass, the police finally begin to track this elusive thief, a vigilante figure who goes after corrupt wealth to support the vulnerable. The story follows his evolving sense of justice and the risks that come with walking a fine line between crime and compassion.

Neera Sreeleela, the daughter of a wealthy Australian CEO Vasudev, travels to India to reconnect with her roots. Fearing for her safety, her father hires a security firm he finds online, a decision that quietly sets the stage for a clash of worlds. Unbeknownst to them, the security outfit operating from a modest base in Hyderabad is run by Janardhan Sunnipenta / Agent John Snow Rajendra Prasad. Ram ends up joining this same firm by chance, creating an unexpected intersection between Ram’s street-level crusade and a business that pretends to safeguard people but harbors its own motives.

Neera visits a village where her grandfather lends a hand to the locals. The area is under threat from Swamy, a drug dealer who wants the village land for his own illicit cultivation. When Neera learns that Swamy’s men have injured her grandfather and terrorize the villagers, she teams up with Ram to rally the locals, who are too afraid to resist on their own. To gain access to Swamy’s operations, Ram pretends to side with Swamy and cleverly hacks Swamy’s phone to plant fake evidence. The ruse works briefly, but Swamy uncovers the deception and captures Ram, putting both him and Neera’s grandfather in danger.

Through the capture, the bond between Ram and Neera deepens, and a crucial backstory unfolds: when Ram was a child, Neera’s grandfather saw him giving money to an elderly woman even though Ram himself was an orphan in need. This moment touches the grandfather, who later helps Ram by welcoming him into a larger orphanage funded by his resources. Ram eventually learns about the Robinhood project more fully, especially after the grandfather’s injury prevents him from sending money to the orphanage. He discovers that some donors misuse funds to gain fame, which sows the seeds for Ram’s decision to redirect wealth away from the greedy and toward the vulnerable.

As Ram’s awareness grows, he makes a crucial turn toward more systematic action against those who abuse charity. He begins to steal from the greedy with the intent of redistributing wealth to where it’s really needed. When Ram regains consciousness after the drug-induced state, he learns that fellow orphans posing as security guards have rescued Neera’s family, underscoring a broader network of young protectors who share his mission.

In a final confrontation, Ram returns to Swamy’s hideout for one last challenge. The sequence is interrupted by Victor Varghese, a police officer who has been pursuing Robinhood from the start. When Ram hacked Swamy’s phone, Victor was monitoring the transactions, and a hacker friend of Ram’s briefly alters the visual trail, making it appear as though Swamy is the one receiving the funds. This leads to Swamy’s arrest, while Victor questions how Robinhood managed to outpace him and insinuates the possibility that the movement is bigger than any single thief.

Earlier, Ram had preemptively filed a police report about Robinhood stealing his father’s money, ensuring a trail that would help authorities if he was ever caught. The climactic sequence thus balances the thrill of a high-stakes raid with the ethical tension of vigilantism, as those involved wrestle with the line between justice and criminality.

The film closes with Swamy imprisoned beside the drug kingpin David Bhai. Bhai cryptically blames his arrest on “Robinhood”—not Ram alone, but a growing movement that echoes Ram’s own crusade. The final shot hints at a sequel, Brotherhood Robinhood, suggesting that multiple orphans could be inspired to join the cause and continue the fight for those who cannot defend themselves.
