Robin of Locksley 1996

Robin McAllister, Devon Sawa, and his family win the lottery and move from Kansas City to Seattle, where Robin enrolls at Locksley Academy, a glamorous private school that changes the social dynamics of his life. To help a friend in need who needs money for an operation, he hatches a plan to rob John Prince Sr., Tom Butler, the head of a very wealthy corporation, setting off a chain of choices that test his morals and ingenuity.

At school, Robin befriends two misfits: Will Scarlett, Billy O’Sullivan, and Little John, Tyler Labine. He also falls for a girl named Marion, Sarah Chalke, who trains the horses that Robin’s family owns. As his circle expands, Robin’s actions draw the ire of John Prince Jr., Joshua Jackson, the most prominent kid at the school, along with his friends Warner and Gibson, the sons of wealthy families (Warner Jr., Chad Todhunter, and Gibson Jr., Kevin Hansen). The tension between Robin’s growing courage and the Prince clan’s wealth intensifies the school’s power dynamics.

That rising conflict pushes Robin to pursue the archery team, but John Prince Jr. blocks his entry. Undeterred, he starts his own team, and his two new allies join him, learning from Robin’s technique and strategic thinking as they practice under the backdrop of Seattle’s opulent high-society culture. The team becomes a symbol of defiance and teamwork, balancing Robin’s desire to help his friends with the need to navigate loyalties and secrets hidden within Locksley Academy.

As the story unfolds, McAllister must outsmart FBI agent Walter Nottingham, Colin Cunningham, and stay a step ahead of the school’s wealthiest crowd while orchestrating a plan that could level the playing field. The rest of the movie follows his careful moves to protect his family’s fortune, stand up to the moneyed elite, and prove that resourcefulness and courage can challenge a system built on status and privilege.
