Former hit man Nicky Pardo lives on the edge, continually rolling the dice with a stylized pistol as a ritualized test of control. Flashbacks reveal a devastating past: in a confrontation, he unknowingly killed the son of a feared rival, known as the Scorpion. That act triggers a brutal retaliation where the Scorpion tortures Pardo and his pregnant wife, forces Pardo to end his wife’s suffering, and leaves Pardo for dead in a harsh desert. He survives after pulling the trigger three times, a grim omen that follows him into the present. Now, under the moniker Redeemer, he moves through a world scarred by crime, delivering a stark ultimatum to former drug gangs—repent or die.
