Their road trip takes a turn at a roadside diner, where a gang captures Elisa and contacts Vicente to claim the reward. Kris and El Corvo arrive at the hideout, and a brutal shootout erupts, sending Kris and Elisa scrambling once more. The violence intensifies the closer they get to the truth, and yet a fragile bond forms between them as they navigate the danger together. Kris notices a diamond necklace Elisa wears—the same one he once gave to her mother—a small, aching reminder of what he’s trying to protect.

After stealing a truck to press on, Elisa begins to doubt Kris’s vision of a safer future and, overwhelmed, secretly steals the vehicle and leaves him behind. While Kris searches for her and tries to call Vicente for help, El Corvo closes in, and the pursuit culminates in a tense confrontation where El Corvo takes Elisa hostage. Kris is knocked unconscious, only to awaken bound and suspended on an upturned tire with a noose around his neck in a crowded public square. Vicente and his men find him, cut him down, and a direct confrontation reveals El Corvo’s deeply personal vendetta against Vicente. El Corvo calls Vicente and reveals Elisa’s exact location: an abandoned factory. Vicente arrives with his men and an unarmed Kris in tow, but El Corvo ambushes them, killing Vicente’s crew and capturing Vicente himself.

With Elisa bound and in clear danger, El Corvo forces Vicente to watch as the girl is slowly drawn toward a massive metal-shredding machine. Kris staggers in, engaging El Corvo in a brutal fight while Vicente fights to stop the machine from tearing their world apart. In a chilling confession, Vicente admits that years ago he hired El Corvo to murder Elisa’s mother when she attempted to leave him, taking Elisa with her. As Elisa edges toward the danger, Kris urges her to act.

In a daring final act, Elisa throws the diamond necklace into the machine, jamming it enough to halt the crushing gears and allow her to break free. Badly injured but determined, Kris lands a decisive blow on El Corvo as he continues his assault, while Vicente uses a saw to strike at his foe. The struggle ends with El Corvo gravely wounded, dragging Vicente toward the edge as they both fall from a great height. Kris, bleeding and barely conscious, collapses as Elisa rushes to his side in terrified grief.

In the aftermath, Elisa places flowers on a grave—only to reveal that the grave is her mother’s, not Kris’s. Kris appears beside her and lays a flower down too, telling her that keeping the promise to her mother was worth the danger and loss. The two share a quiet, powerful moment of reconciliation, finally united as father and daughter in love and mourning.

A final flashback hints at the uncertain fate of El Corvo, while Vicente’s body is all that remains recovered from the fall.
