In his Baltimore townhouse, the renowned psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) hosts an elegant dinner party that subtly veils a sinister undertone. The conversation flows, centering around the mysterious disappearance of a local musician who, notably, had drawn criticism for hitting several incorrect notes during a concert that Lecter had attended. As the evening progresses, Lecter serves his guests a sumptuous meal and cryptically replies when probed about the meat’s origin: > “If I tell you, I’m afraid you won’t even try it.”
