Raja Kaiya Vacha 1990

Raja is a con artist who falls in love with Vijaya. At first, she suspects he is a police officer and asks him to locate lost belongings, but his eagerness to please leads him to steal to fulfill those wishes. One day, the police arrest Raja in Vijaya’s presence. He is sent to jail but is treated like a king by fellow inmates. Vijaya leaves town with her father. When Raja is released, he resolves to find Vijaya.

Meanwhile, Johnny, a workers’ union leader, often leads strikes and teams up with a rival company manager named Vaidyaraj. With many general managers resigning, Raja eyes a job at the same company to get closer to Vijaya, who also works there. The company chairman hires Raja, who then recruits his friend Japan as a security officer.

Divya, the company chairman’s granddaughter and a polio patient, falls in love with Raja. The strikes and workers’ problems within the company begin to disappear, a turn of events that stirs mixed feelings among the people at the plant.

Vijaya begins to understand Raja’s heart and the depth of his affection. Meanwhile, Divya’s grandfather proposes marriage to Raja, but he makes clear that his heart belongs to Vijaya.

Johnny and Vaidyaraj plot to kill Raja, planting a bomb in the factory. In a dramatic turn, Vaidyaraj reveals that he is the brother of the company chairman, and the two conspirators are eliminated in the ensuing conflict. Through courage and quick thinking, Raja saves the factory and secures a future with Vijaya.
