During a Christmas Eve celebration, young Clara receives a nutcracker doll from her godfather, Drosselmeyer. That night, she falls asleep and finds herself transported into a magical world where the nutcracker battles the Mouse King and his army. The nutcracker transforms into a Prince and takes Clara to an enchanted island for dazzling festivities. This beloved holiday ballet, performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and featuring Wassili Vainonen’s choreography, is presented for the first time in 3-D.
